The East Neuk Local Tourism Association is having its’ Spring Meeting on Wednesday, April 4, at Anstruther Town Hall. The meeting time is 6:30 for 7pm, with time before and after the presentations to catch up with friends and enjoy a cup of tea and a snack. As with previous ENLTA meetings, the evening will end by 9:30pm.
With the V & A Museum in Dundee opening in September, tourism-related as well as other businesses are sure to feel a ripple effect as tourists flock to the new museum AND tour neighbouring, nearby areas — such as the East Neuk — as well.
Jane Ferguson, with the V&A Museum, will make a presentation about the museum, while KarenTocher, with the Exploring Eastern Scotland initiative, will talk about how area businesses can prepare for, and benefit from, the museum’s impact on area tourism businesses. East Neuk and other regional tourist-facing businesses will learn of the collaborations being put in place so that the anticipated — and sizeable — increase in tourism will filter down to benefit everybody.
The cost is £5 per person payable at the door in cash. Please feel free to invite colleagues you feel will enjoy this evening as well.
The East Neuk Local Tourism Association is dedicated to the development and expansion of the East Neuk as a tourism destination and supporting the East Neuk businesses involved in the tourism market.
