Scottish Charity No SC044255
Aims & Objectives
To provide a confidential counselling service to people over the age of 16
Counselling is an opportunity to talk in confidence to a person outside your situation. It gives you space and time in your life for you to explore thoughts and feelings and, most importantly, gives time for you to concentrate on your needs. It can help you to live a more satisfying and happy life.
Counselling sessions last 50 minutes and are arranged with the same counsellor each week. You will be offered up to 6 counselling sessions in the first instance. Further sessions can be organised in discussion with your counsellor, and the work is reviewed regularly.
What Will It Cost ?
We ask for a minimum donation of £10 or in line with your financial circumstances for counselling sessions. Ability to pay does not affect your access to counselling therefore no-one in need will be denied help.
Making An Appointment
You can make an appointment, by telephone, by email with a brief paragraph of what your concerns are. You can only make a booking for yourself, and not on behalf of someone else. If you leave a message, the administrator will aim to reply to you within 2 days.
If all available counselling spaces are full you will go on our waiting list for an appoitment. We will take your name and details and contact you when a counsellor becomes available. You do not need a referral from your GP or any other professional to make an appointment.
